Sartocool PS guarantee the retention of particles and yeast cells. Enhanced total throughput performance in combination with highest product safety is achieved.

Available in 30″ Cartridge only
Pore sizes: 0.45um and 0.65um

Vinosart PS - Wine

Ideal for Wine and Sparkling Wine

Vinosart® PS 0.45 μm | 0.65 μm are pleated membrane filter cartridges with a single layer asymmetrical polyether sulfone membrane inside. Vinosart® PS has been especially designed for the filtration of wine and sparkling wine.

Vinosart® PS offers a very high flow rate and total throughput combined with an excellent chemical regeneration capability.

Formats: 10″, 20″ and 30″ Cartridges available
Pore size: 0.45um and 0.65um

Aquasart - Water

Ideal for Sterile Water filtration.

Aquasart® PS filter cartridges are integrity testable membrane filters especially developed for filtration of water in the Food & Beverage Industry.

They are characterised by a unique hydrophilic Polyethersulfone membrane offering a broad chemical compatibility, exceptional high flow rates and total throughputs and highest microbiological safety.

Pore size: 0.2um

SHEET AND LENTICULAR FILTERS

Designed to provide clarification are both sheets and lenticulars are available in a variety of nominal pore sizes. Made from a composite of pure cellulose fiber, diatomaceous earth, perlite and cationic resin this filter media with has the highest dirt holding capacity and electrokinetic adsorption in our range. Ideally suited to removal of gross particulate matter. Selection of a specific grade is dependent on the intended application.

Depth Filter Sheets

Ideal for Wine, Beer, Spirits, Fruit Juices and Water filtration

The sheets are manufactured from high grade, natural raw materials such as cellulose and diatomaceous earth and can are available in various sizes.

Nominal pore sizes 3 – 7um, 0.5 – 1.5um and 0.3 – 0.4um

Sheets for Spirit available on request. Please speak to our team about spirit filtration.

Available as 40 x 40 sold in units of 100.

Lenticular Modules

Ideal for Wine, Beer, Spirits and Water filtration

Modules are used for clarification and microbe-retentive filtration in the food and beverage industry.

The use of modules in closed filtration housings eliminates factors like dripping and contamination from external sources.

The sheets are manufactured from high grade, natural raw materials such as cellulose and diatomaceous earth and are available in various sizes.

Available either 12″ or 16″ lenticular modules with gasket fittings as standard.

Modules for Spirit available on request. Please speak to our team about spirit filtration.

Nominal pore sizes 3 – 7um, 0.5 – 1.5um and 0.3 – 0.4um

WATER FILTERS

Carbon Block - Sub-micron

‘Drop-in’ DOE filter cartridge

Sub-micron carbon block reduces extra fine particles and dirt from drinking water. Effectively reduces contaminants such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts. Effectively reduces unwanted tastes, odor and chlorine. High porosity design prevents the cartridge from plugging before its adsorption capacity is exhausted. Improves the taste of beverages such as soft drinks and coffee. Helps keep equipment running at peak efficiency and keeps maintenance costs down.

Capacity: 37,800 L

Carbon Block - 5um

Sanitary filter cartridge

Problem solving cartridge removes particles down to 5 microns. Carbon block technology provides dirt, chlorine, taste and odour reduction and protects against scale build-up. Good for medium flow and low volume applications. Sanitary quick change cartridge is easy to install and replace.

Capacity: 22,710 L Flow Rate: 3.2 LPM

Certifications: NSF 42

Polyspun - Sediment Filter

Ideal for Water pre-filtration

Available in 10″ and 20″ formats.

Pore sizes available: 50-5um and 20-1um

MINISART SYRINGE FILTER UNITS

Minisart - Syringe Filters

Minisart syringe filters are ready-to-use filter units, offering high flow rates at low inlet pressures, to make rapid filtration of possible. Fitted onto a syringe, they enable a less hand-tiring sterilization of up to 100 ml of liquid. A Minisart fitted on a standard dosing syringe makes up a very convenient system for simultaneous dosing and sterilization. For larger volumes either Sartolab P or MidiCap membarnes may better suit your needs.

Particle removal Minisarts are available with pore sizes 0.45µm, 0.8µm, 1.2µm, 5µm and one with a glass fibre depth filter. They can also be used as a prefilter in combination with a 0.2µm Minisart, increasing the total filterable volume. Minisart+ units have a built in glass fibre prefilter which can often double the filterable volume.

Minisart syringe units are colour coded to avoid confusion; yellow (0.45µm), green (0.8µm), red (1.2µm), brown (5µm), opaque (Minisart GF)

Luer lock and luer slip connections available for syringe connection.

Supplied as sterile individually packed in boxes of 50 (exception being GF type)

Supplied as non-sterile bulk packed in boxes of 500

 0.45um PESU Minisart

Available in 10″ and 20″ formats.

Pore sizes available: 50-5um and 20-1um

FILTER PAPERS

Quantitative and Technical Papers

Generally filter papers are used for separating substances of different physical states. They are absorbent, porous fibre materials. The fibrous structure of filter papers forms a capillary system, whose intercapillary spaces depend, as to their size and number, on the raw materials used and which may be influenced by the beating in the hollander and the way the paper machine works.

We use natural and synthetic, organic and non-organic fibres. In order to obtain special properties they are partly treated chemically and are impregnated with synthetic resins.

Sartorius filter papers are made to a great extent from pulps of pine or spruce wood, but also of birch-, beech- and eucalyptus wood, cotton linters and viscose pulp.

These raw materials are refined to different filter papers with graded properties by wet beating in hollanders and sheet formation on specially modified paper machines.
